Alexandria Maris has known since 9th grade that she was going to end up in education! Before joining BCSC in 2024, she taught 7th grade math and was a leader at Franklin Community Middle School. She graduated from Huntington University with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Purdue University. She wants to ensure that the work of passionate educators can extend beyond the walls of their classrooms and their schools. She is committed to working with other educational leaders to help create a public school system that our community is proud of and that provides deep and meaningful learning opportunities for every student.
When she isn't working with students, you can probably find Alexandria with her husband Andrew! They love spending time golfing, spending time with family, going to sporting events, and everything pertaining to Purdue and the Colts!
She looks forward to working with you and your students. Columbus Virtual Pathway is designed to be a flexible and personalized option for all students. Please don’t hesitate to contact her with any questions.
